This is a simple first-person game where players navigate through a dark bedroom environment, without interactive mechanics.

The project is based on a personal childhood memory. During primary school, I often felt reluctant to go to the restroom at night due to a strong fear of darkness. This fear led me to imagine the presence of hidden entities, despite the absence of any real threat.

Walking through the oversized bedroom, the player is surrounded by darkness, with furniture towering unnaturally in the space. Each step toward the distant restroom feels longer and more uncertain. Behind the door, the sound of snoring echoes through the night; once familiar, it now feels distant, distorted, and unsettling within the darkness.

I especially like the lighting of the character and the room. Created a creepy environment. The scale between player and object make the whole game trapped into a dream-like vibe.

I really like the use of lighting to make the player search around and have the rest of the room slowly be revealed.

I noticed how when you enter the bathroom it shifts to a more proportional scale, which helps sell the fact that it's sort of a nightmare that you feel small, while darkness surrounds you to make you feel that way.

I really like the sound design in this game. The ominous humming in the background subtly adds tension into the scene without being too non-diegetic. The snoring and the soft footsteps add a lot of realism as well.

I really love the lighting of this game

I think the fact that you mentioned things in the dark in the description makes the playthrough so much more intense and slow because you're expecting something to happen. The large scale of everything followed by the scaling down also makes it feel like you've made it at the end. Great job!

The ambiance of your game is really engaging! I also love the changes in scale that you made, which kind of makes the player think why you made these artistic decisions at these specific moments.

This kinda felt like a horror game, it intrigued me from the start. The subtle ticking in the background is a nice touch. You did a great job of using sounds to create the feeling; the silence being penetrated by the player's footsteps and  snoring really adds to the unknown and eerie feeling. Additionally, good use of scale to make the player feel like a scared child where everything is so much bigger due to fear.

I really love the textures! They're very crisp and clear. I also like the sound of the footsteps and the clock ticking in the background.

Very ominous and scary! Felt like an accurate representation of how it feels when you walk around at night as a kid!

I love how low the camera is, simulating a vulnerable child. The lighting was excellently done, contributing to the feelings of dread as some background noises fill the house. The yellow lighting makes me feel like we are holding a flashlight, exploring a dark and intimidating space.

Like the light sopt of the game, really immersive

The snoring really sells the fact that it's a live-in house rather than it being a bad dream. I do think it adds to the fear of randomly hearing sounds faintly to simulate the fear that something is there when there really isn't.

I really like the lighting of your game, it really makes the game feel like a horror game and I was really scared throughout the game. I like how the bathroom is scaled differently than the bedroom.

I like the wallpaper and the snoring effect, which added to the nighttime darkness. I think if the character light was even dimmer, it would make the game even more intense. Overall, well done and it is probably a relatable experience for most people when young.

the lighting sold it. It reminds me of playing Phansmophobia

I really like how you decorated the room and the house. Big fan of the wallpaper; it makes it very cohesive

This captured how it feels to be a kid scared of the dark super well. The character being unrealistically small is super accurate to that feeling, and the sounds add a lot to the scariness of it. Very nicely done!

I'm interested by how you've chosen to scale the game. It's interesting how little you feel in this setting. Playing with darkness and player field of vision in the future again would be interesting and I wanna see more with what you want to do with this!
